Moretonville Wanderers U11 were unlucky not to come away from Old Stratford with at least a point after a much improved performance. Wanderers pressed early on and with more composure in front of goal could have taken the lead. Old Stratford, however, scored with their first attack. The Wanderers rallied and a Kyle Ballinger shot brought them level just before half time. 
the second half was very even with both sides having chances to gain the initiative. Old Sratford showed the way with an excellent finish leaving the Wanderers to chase the game again. Several chances were created but the inability to finish and good saves from the Old Stratford goal keeper meant that Old Stratford kept their noses in front. The result was settled with another excellent strike leaving Old Stratford as 3 - 1 winners. Wanderers man of the match was Jamie Martinez.
