This was the best game ever because it was our first win since we started two years ago. We were strong and determined and with a great match against Wolverton wasps and now this result it was great. 2 great games at the beginning of the season. 

Well it was quite a cold day and we had warmed up ready to go. We got straight on to the pitch and we all played 100% our best. With DJ’s brilliant goal keeping skills and everybody’s high spirits towards the game, throughout the game was what won us our 1st match. Nobody was seriously injured. In the first and second half of the game we had some great throw-ins, and passes and we managed to keep possession of the ball for the majority of the game. There was also some very positive first touches, in the game which Lee, Sue and Jayne had been coaching us the Tuesday before the match. 

In the second half Nim scored the only goal of the game, and a brilliant goal it was. When the game had finished we phoned Lee as he was on holiday and left him a very noisy voice message on his phone lol.

I would just like to say to my team a BIG WELL DONE! 

Also I would like to add that you girls deserved that win more than any other team I have ever known. Fantastic result for players that have given nothing more than 100% every game and training session. Well done girls and I am proud of all of you. Lee
