Everybody in our team arrived ready to play the first match of the new year. We were all in good spirits after not having a match for quite a while. We played nine a side on a very wet and boggy pitch. 

It was a good game although we lost. There was one goal scored in the first half and another in the second half loosing the game 8-2. We worked well as a team, helping back in defence when required and supporting the midfielders and strikers by always making their an opportunity for somebody to pass to if it was needed (teamwork). The weather was good, however the pitch was not so good. So bearing that in mind I think we played really well. There was one injury where Abby hurt her leg being in goal and then out on pitch

There was no player of the match rewarded this week. Well done girls for a good game of football and well done for us all turning up.
