Moretonville Rangers under 10s continued their great start to the season by beating Waterhall Stars 6 – 3 at the weekend. Having gone a goal down within the first 5 minutes Rangers repelled a series of attacks from Waterhall and could have gone further behind had it not been for some fine saves from their keeper Solly Janecki. Rangers fought back and ended the half ahead with goals from Jonty Ackroyd and Josh Nesden. The second half was a different proposition with the Rangers midfield dominating the game. The relentless pressure and precision passing resulted in goals from Jonathan Aubrey and Conor Stygal-Watson. Waterhall responded by scoring a couple of goals on the break however Rangers retained their forward momentum and stretched their lead through goals from Jonty Ackroyd and man of the match Josh Nesden.
