A crisp sunny Sunday morning brought together the Hurricanes and Tornados for a friendly fixture that enabled both teams to experiment with some new tactics and team positions (Tornados even had Chris West playing as an outfield player - a very rare appearance). Although we came out on the wrong end of an 8-1 defeat I thought that overall we played some very good football and I believe that things are slowly beginning to gel and look promising for the League campaign ahead of us. Danny Bradley found himself on the score sheet again, that’s 3 in 3 games - Well done Danny!! At the other end of the pitch there was once again an excellent goal keeping display from Sam Williams. Overall I think it was a very good workout for both teams and a thoroughly enjoyable game of football. I would like to thank Phil and Paul for the run out and wish the Tornados all the very best for their upcoming league campaign. Well done to both teams - keep up the hard work !!!
