Moretonville Wanderers under 12s crashed to their first defeat of the season with a 5 -1 trouncing by Towcester Juniors in a home match at the weekend.   Up against by far the strongest team they have faced this season, Wanderers players struggled to cope with the greater pressure Towcester applied when they had the ball, and much higher level of comittment, resultingin very poor passing generally and frequent loss of possession.  Wanderers sole goal came from some neat passing down the centre finally put away by Ryan Freshwater. Wanderers goalkeeper, Jack Duff, did very well to keep the score to 2-1 at half-time. In the second half Wanderers defence continued to be punished by lack of pace and anticipation, and some good setpieces from Towcester.  Man of the Match was awarded to James Foster.
