Rovers U11S travelled to City Colts for the reverse fixture from the previous week looking for revenge from the defeat. And from the off we looked much better play going box to box creating a number of shooting opportunities but the keeper playing well and poor finishing and we were made to pay after 18 minutes when a corner was delivered in which was failed to be cleared and we were 1-0 down. For the remainder ofthe 12 minutes of the half poor defending allowed City Colts to add 3 further goals and make the score a rather unjust 4-0 scoreline to City Colts. In the second half was more even and City Colts became dominant as the tiredness and confidence factor kicked in and a good fifth goal was added after 10 minutes of the half and again with 10 minutes left again poor defending allowed City Colts to score a sixth. The team then struck back with substitiute Sean Osborn came on and added some zip up front and his persistence paid off with a well taken goal with the last kick of the game to make the final score a 6-1 loss to City Colts. Again a rather lopsided scoreline but if you dont take the chances presented to you and poor defending these results will happen and continue.
