We travelled to Milton keynes for this mid week match knowing it would be a tough game against one of the best team in division.

We came under a lot of pressure and withstood it for the opening 10 minutes before we went a goal behind.

The teams heads did not drop and despite some scares kept the scoreline to 1-0 at half time.

Coming out for the second half again we battled well for the first 10 minutes before MK Athletic struck to go 2-0 up and then a couple of minutes later it was 3-0, and then 4-0 before Sean Osborn battling hard pulled a goal back and we had other chances to score again but when we conceded the fifth with 5 minutes left heads went down and conceded 2 further goals to end on the wrong end of a 7-1 scoreline.

On the night we were not good enough against a physically strong side and we were muscledout of it.
