Rovers slipped to a disapointing defeat against the cougars. Rovers never really got going and the match had a real "end of season" feel to it. Cougars were the sharper in most areas and took a deserved lead. Rovers as always rolled there sleeves up and were soon level when Marshall found the net from a tight angle.
The second half was better, but the Cougars were quicker out of the traps and before they knew it the Rovers were 3-1 down. Again Marshall finished well to reduce the arrears and despite Robbins, Marsden & Cruse all going close, the Cougars held on for the win.
