Here’s everything you need to know about Moretonville’s Presentation Day on Saturday June 18, 2022

For the first time, 2022 will see Moretonville’s Presentation Day combined with a family fun day based at the grounds.  Teams will be invited to join with their friends and families to finally be able to celebrate the season together after a break of two years.

The event this year is kindly sponsored by CloSE UK Ltd; CLoSE UK Ltd provides quantity and building surveying, consultancy and support services to the UK and international construction industries. Find out more about the company by following this link.

The club and its sporting partners will be providing entertainment and concession stalls such as:

  • Bouncy castles and Inflatables*
  • Sports4All*
  • Goalkeeper Warz – ‘beat the goalie’* and ‘speed goal’
  • Teddy and Bottle Tombola Stalls (in aid of Young Carers and Ukraine)
  • Face Painting and Tattoos* (9am – 1pm)
  • Tuck Shop
  • Bar
  • Pizza Van
  • Ice Cream Van
  • Burger Van
  • Coffee Van
  • Second-Hand Boots Stall
  • MJFC Club Shop

*no additional charges

PLEASE NOTE:  In the unlikely, but still possible, event that the day is a wash-out (weather-wise), this event will be cancelled and Plan B will take effect.  Any changes or cancellations due to weather conditions will be published nearer the time.

TEAM INVOLVEMENT

We are very proud that our club is wholly run with volunteers and this event is no different.  A group of volunteers have been working hard in the background organising the day.  On the day itself, each team will be allocated a ‘volunteer slot’ to help manage the tombola and second-hand boot stalls as well as the tuck shop.

It will be up to each team to ensure that these slots are covered at the times allocated – a separate rota will be sent nearer the time but don’t worry, no one will miss attending their team’s presentation slot.

PRESENTATION FORMAT

Presentations will be held in a pod marquee.

The marquee will have two pods adjoined that can hold up to 200 people with a moderate stage and 150 chairs.

Each AGE GROUP has been allocated a time slot to present their awards and end-of-season speeches with a short handover time between (see the bottom of this article for timings).

IT IS IMPERATIVE FOR THE SMOOTH RUNNING OF THE DAY THAT EACH TEAM ENSURES THEY MEET THE GIVEN TIME SLOT.

There will be no opportunity to move or add to the time slots if a team or player is not there on time.

AWARDS AND MEDALS

MEDALS  An individual medal with MJFC logo and neck ribbon will be given to each player in U7-U11s (inclusive) only.
