Moretonville parents urged to get behind the FA’s Play Safe weekend 2022

The FA has launched its latest Play Safe initiative…and the focus this year is on parents and carers and raise awareness about the safeguarding role you can play.

The Play Safe weekend will be on September 17 and 18, 2022/

A new course has been launched online which is free for all parents and carers and will only take half an hour to complete.

Play Safe launched last November and will last for three years. It exists to highlight the importance of safeguarding in football and the important role every type of stakeholder can play to ensure safeguarding is embedded in every football activity. The annual weekend is the main time that Play Safe is promoted but its messages exist all the time.

It’s a pan-football campaign and has the full support of the professional game and the NSPCC.
